Our building

We've tried to make our beautiful listed building as accessible as possible.

Parking spaces for blue-badge holders are outside our entrance, which has a ramp and handrail. There is a pavement ramp on the corner of Ridgmount Street and Chenies Street giving access to The Drill Hall's own entrance ramp.

Both of our theatres can accommodate wheelchairs. The theatre bar and Drill Hall 1 are on ground level and are fully wheelchair accessible. Drill Hall 2 is situated on the lower ground floor and is accessible either by battery-operated lift or a steep staircase. An adapted, wheelchair-accessible toilet is at ground level.

Drill Hall 1 and Drill Hall 2 are fitted with induction loops.

Sign Language Interpreted Performances

We try to schedule SLIP for as many of our productions as possible. We indicate on each production page if there is a SLIP for your chosen performance.

The SPIT (Signed Performances in Theatre) site lists performances at The Drill Hall with sign language or captioning.
