The Drill Hall is delighted to be hosting Schools Out 2007 National Conference during LGBT(Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender) History Month.

Last year's exciting and interactive conference was attended by over 100 people. The 2007 Conference promises to be even more successful, informative and enlightening.

Schools Out has been working toward equality in for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people since 1974. Their aims are:

To provide both a formal and informal support network for all people who want to raise the issue of homophobia and heterosexism in education.

To research, debate and stimulate curriculum development on LGBT issues.

To campaign on lesbian, gay, bisexual and transperson issues as they affect education and those in education.
